This experience helped me a lot to organise work and study time. It helps me be a mature and more responsible person. Because the course is online I could design my own schedule, it offers flexibility and a sense of freedom. Something else that I enjoyed and appreciated was the help of the tutors. I found help and support from the University staff. This course helped me develop my skills, like: organising, scheduling, time management, decision making and much more.
What are you doing now? How has the online degree helped you?
Currently I am an IT Tutor. When I finished my degree course I got a promotion to an Examiner.
My next step is to continue postgraduate studies.
Thanks to all at University of Hertfordshire!

Undertaking the degree online allowed me to manage my time in a flexible and productive manner amid studying, working, as well as coping with other commitments.
The initial fear of any problems that are normally associated with distance learning might crop up, were soon over after familiarising myself with Studynet, the intuitive online study tool used at UH. Furthermore, tutors and support staff were generally very cooperative, as well as willing to give assistance and guidance on both academic and logistic queries.
What are you doing now? How has the online degree helped you?
I am currently employed as the Management Information Systems Officer of the Ministry of Finance, the Economy and Investment. The knowledge obtained through the degree gave me the confidence to carry out my job in a more professional way.
After a couple of months break from studying, in September I intend to enrol to a postgraduate course.

To Whom It May Concern,

I have been attending to Computer Domain since March 2011 having 2 to 3 lectures a week. It was very difficult for me due to full-time and part-time jobs that I have. It is thanks to a lot of encouragement from my family and friends that I managed to finish this course.

I never expected that the National Diploma required this kind of commitment, though Computer domain has made this easier through very knowledgeable and thoughtful lecturers. They were always there to teach and do their best to help us. We received all types of notes, good references and best material. The fronter was another very good tool for storage of notes and to download the assignments sheets.

Once achieved my National Diploma, I am planning to secure a better job in IT which I think I deserve thanks to Computer Domain. I would like to thank to Mr Patrick Tanti, Mr Andre Damato and Mr Emanuel Galea for helping us students believe in ourselves and finishing the course.

Best Regards,

Clayton Cassar
