Wireless LANs

Fundamentals of Wireless LANs is a more specialized curriculum; introducing students to Wireless LANs, focusing on the design, planning, implementation, operation and troubleshooting of Wireless LANs and bridging.

The course has been designed for 70 hours and it covers a comprehensive overview of technologies, security and design best practices with particular emphasis on hands on skills in topics such as Wireless LAN setup and troubleshooting, 802.11a and 802.11b technologies, products and solutions, site surveys, resilient WLAN design and security, installation, configuration and vendor interoperability strategies.

Successful completion of the course will prepare students to achieve Cisco Wireless LAN Support Specialist designation.
