Football Tournament 2011/2012 : Another Success for Computer Domain in aid of ‘L-Istrina'
Republic Day was not a normal public holiday for the over 500 MCAST students studying at Computer Domain. On Tuesday 13th December the school organised a Football Tournament in aid of ‘L-Istrina 2011', at the Pieta' Football Grounds. A high attendance of players and supporters characterised the day. Sixteen teams, including a ‘Staff team' took part in this solidarity activity. Grottli United a team composed of students following the Foundation Programme won the tournament whilst the ‘Staff team' placed second.
The event served as an effective team building exercise, whereby students and staff got to know each other better in a different context.
Computer Domain takes the opportunity to thank all the members of staff and students that have contributed in a way or another for this event.
This event was part of a series of activities organised by Computer Domain in aid of ‘L-Istrina 2011'. Other activities organised by Computer Domain to collect donations for this national fund-raising event are ‘Badger Karting', ‘Black & White Day', 'Hacking by Night' and ‘Rubik Cube Day'.
